Steven Abboud of PhaZZer talks with KXXV TV Channel 25, “Central Texas Living”. He explains how the PhaZZer Enforcer safety features are designed to save lives while completely immobilizing the subject. He describes how, after studying reports from the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM), the importance of the 15-second rule in helping to avoid overexposure to a CED (Conductive Electrical Device). Steven Abboud and PhaZZer developed the first auto shutdown safety feature to help save lives, as reported by the AAEM. He explains that each trigger pull will last only 5 seconds, with a maximum of 3 trigger pulls before the unit is automatically shut down to maintain a maximum exposure of 15 seconds. This will prevent overexposure from the CEW (Conductive Electrical Weapon), helping to ensure that the PhaZZer Enforcer will safely subdue the subject without taking lives. Due to this, the PhaZZer Enforcer has become the Taser alternative for many law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in the United States and worldwide. As of the airing date of this interview, the PhaZZer Enforcer has had ZERO fatalities.
Reuters News has reported that the Taser brand CED units, while designed to help save lives, have been involved in MANY proximate deaths due to their use. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-taser-deaths-insight/as-death-toll-keeps-rising-u-s-communities-start-rethinking-taser-use-idUSKCN1PT0YT/
