Description
- Type: Proprietary lithium Digital Power Magazine (DPM)
- Configuration: Contains two 3-volt lithium cells (6 volts nominal total)

Function: Supplies power to the TASER® X26E and stores operational data such as:
- remaining battery percentage
- firing history
- temperature data
- software information
- Display integration: Communicates with the X26E Central Information Display (CID) to show battery life and diagnostics.
- Capacity: Approximately 195–300 five-second firing cycles depending on temperature and age. Cold weather reduces performance.
- Design: Fits into the pistol grip/handle and locks in with a release button.
- Special feature: The DPM contains onboard memory and can also carry firmware/software updates for the X26E.
- Non-rechargeable: Standard DPMs are disposable lithium packs. The optional TASER® CAM accessory used a rechargeable power system instead.
Physically, the battery pack is:
- black polymer housing
- rectangular grip insert style
- gold electrical contacts on top
- slightly extended below the grip for removal
